Default possible bug? Leadership and Lead the Way interaction

Hi...
I tested this on a hero in GTOB (PvP). Leadership atribute was set to 10.
Have hero cast Lead the Way on me, wait for it to expire, watch hero's energy gain: 0.
Have hero cast Lead the Way on himself, wait for it to expire, watch hero's energy gain: 0.

In both cases, hero got 0 energy back from Lead the Way expiring. The only energy hero got back was through normal (2 pips) of regen. I thought that with Leadership, you are supposed to get energy back from shouts/chants. Lead the Way falls in this category yet gives no energy back... how come?

Thanks.

EDIT: before anyone asks, my hero and I were standing very close to each other, about 1 character width apart

Dude, Leadership gives 1 energy for every 2 chars AFFECTED. LTW only affects 1 Char.

Tested using para hero in GTOB. 43 max energy, use LtW costing 10. Energy falls to 34. Thus, it is functioning fine.

If leadership is working correctly on paragon heros casting Lead the Way, they will gain 1 energy by casting it. Thus at the same time they lose 10, they gain 1, resulting in a fall of 9 energy.

If it went from 43 to 33, then there would be a bug, but because it doesn't, the OP is wrong.

Yea, I mixed it up in my head after I started posted, and just fixed it...

To clarify, the energy gain = number of allies affected, and only the cap is based on Leadership.

I think I see the problem here. Bolded the relevance. Leadership triggers on the activation of a shout, not the ending. Basically the shout should only cost 9e instead of the 10e.

Edit: now that I reread lord's post, that's basically what he's saying too. Nvm apparently.
